Dangerous Diseases: Turmeric contains elements that have been proven to treat and prevent cancer, dementia and several other dangerous diseases common in dogs. Medical research shows turmeric is actually more effective than several medicines.

Turmeric Dosage for Dogs:

Turmeric is highly recommended for dogs. There are several ways you can feed it to your dog. Turmeric can be given in form of pills or added in their food. Pills are easily available in the market. According to vets, the right dosage  of turmeric is roughly one eighth to one quarter teaspoon for every 10 pounds of the dog’s weight.

However, turmeric is not good for dogs that suffer from kidney stones, taking drugs, or show sensitivity to turmeric.  Generally, turmeric shows positive effects on dogs. Try giving a small dosage to your pet; if it suits it, then you can continue feeding it to your dog. It is better to consult a veterinarian  before feeding turmeric to your dog.
